Extensions stay healthy when the install and the upkeep are both done right. Wefts move up every 8 weeks. K-tips are worn 3 to 5 months, then fully reinstalled.

Wefts
Moved up every 8 weeks.
As your natural hair grows, the wefts are moved back up so they stay secure and clean for a healthy wear. A move-up is a weft push-up only and takes about half an hour.
K-tips
A full reinstall, every time.
Keratin bonds are worn 3 to 5 months. After that Megan takes them out and does a full reinstall with fresh bonds she makes for you. With good care the hair itself can be reused for up to 12 months.
At home
Brushing is the number one thing.
“I always think of it as a teamwork effort.” Your half of the team, in her words and order:
- Brush morning, night and during the day. Matting starts at the nape.
- Keep a small brush in your bag.
- K-tips: finger comb between the bonds so they stay separate as they grow out.
- Wefts: clip up each weft and wash in between the rows, gently at the scalp.
- Sleep in a loose braid, a low pony or a bonnet so tossing and turning does not loosen the install.
- Keep them moisturized with oil, leave-in conditioner and a mask now and then. Blonde extensions dry out fastest.
