Fine hair, Gold Coast

Fine hair, extensions made to its weight.

Megan has finer hair herself and has worn extensions for more than ten years. For fine hair she makes custom keratin bonds, with density matching and even weight distribution, so the hair you add suits the hair you have.

The numbers

Why bonds

Small bonds, placed where you need them.

In Megan’s words: “Keratin bonds are great for finer hair. People who have finer hair or who want to fill in sparse areas are good for keratin bonds.”

“I’m creating custom bonds that fit you specifically so that you can fill in your problem areas, or we can give you fullness. Whereas you might have seen damage from how heavy a weft is.”

  • Density matching, so the added hair blends with how much hair you have
  • Even weight distribution across every bond
  • Color blended to yours by the same person who installs it

The honest part

A teamwork effort.

Extensions can damage hair when they are installed badly or not looked after. Installed correctly and cared for at home, Megan sees natural hair grow. Some of her clients wear them for a stretch to rest their own hair.

“I’m going to install them correctly and you’re going to take care of them correctly, and your natural hair is going to thrive.”

At home

Keep the bonds separate.

  • Brush morning, night and during the day. Brushing is the number one thing.
  • Finger comb between the bonds so they stay separate as they grow out.
  • Sleep in a loose braid, a low pony or a bonnet.
  • Keep them moisturized. Blonde extensions dry out fastest.
