# Megan Hudgin Hair

> Megan Hudgin is a hairstylist in Chicago's Gold Coast who specializes in custom K-tip (keratin bond) hair extensions, beaded weft extensions and lived-in color. ## Extensions
- Custom K-tips (keratin bonds): a custom extension service tailored to each client, with density matching and even weight distribution. Bonds are made by Megan for each client, matched to density and color. Install 1.5 to 3 hours. Worn 3 to 5 months, then a full reinstall.
- Beaded wefts: best for a lot of length and fullness added in one visit. Install about 1.5 hours. Moved up every 8 weeks. Rows are placed around how the client wears a ponytail.
- Extension hair can be reused for up to 12 months with good care.
- Extensions are not damaging when installed correctly and cared for at home. Megan calls it a teamwork effort.
- Extension prices are set at an in-person consultation. They are not published.

## How to start
1. Send the consultation form at https://meganhudgin.com/consultation/ with a recent photo of your current color and length. Color clients can complete the consultation this way.
2. Extension consultations are in person, up to 30 minutes, and are scheduled by Megan rather than booked online.
